Delete your VioLedger account

This page is for the VioLedger app by OriginVio Technologies.

In the app

1. Open VioLedger and sign in.
2. Open More.
3. Under Account and security, tap Delete account.
4. Read the warning and confirm.

Deleting an account cannot be undone. For safety you must have signed in within the last 10 minutes, so the app may ask you to sign in again. If you hold an officer or treasurer role in a committee, hand it over first; the app tells you if this applies.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Your personal accounts, transactions, tags and settings.
• The receipt files you stored.
• In shared groups and person ledgers, the entries stay for the other people so their balances remain correct. Your name there becomes "Former member" and is no longer linked to you.
• Backup copies are deleted automatically within 30 days.

Cannot open the app?

Email us from the address on your account at support@violedger.com with the subject "Delete my VioLedger account". We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.
